4th May Pardoo Station

We went for a drive to the beach and river to check out the fishing spots, the tide was very low, it was a 61/2 metre tide and the water was hard to see at a distance, the river was very low as well but there was still people fishing.
We went for a long walk but most of it was mud flat.
When we headed back we saw a goanna approx a metre and half, I am glad that one didn't come into our camp.
We went for a fish when the tide came in but because everybody else was only catching cat fish on bait, we tried all different types of lures, with no luck, this was in the river area.
Blue nosed salmon and threadfin salmon are both caught there , but with most fish are seasonal,  and this isn't the right time.
Hamburgers for dinner.
