Mothers day and there is no phone reception here so I can't talk to anyone.
After a morning coffee we went for a walk down to the lagoon, it is about 700 metres, just a nice bit of exercise to start the day.
After breakfast we took the canoes out, we paddled out toward the entrance near a rock wall, there was 2 beautiful sea eagles sitting on the wall calling to one another.
We fished up and down, I couldn't believe the amount of activity on the water, fish jumping, turtles everywhere, it was so peaceful, the tranquility can't be described, there are no words to describe the feeling, no stress.
If I could not be with my family today, I could think of nothing better.
We were out padding around for approx 5 hrs, we caught a lot of mangrove jack, but none we considered big enough to keep, Merv caught a barracuda but let it go real quick, he said he didn't want that many sharp teeth in the boat.
Hamburgers for dinner and an early night, feeling a little weary.
