21st, 22nd, 23rd October 2014 Palm Cove

We booked into the caravan park for 3 days as we thought it would be a nice place to stay until Liza came to join us, when we got there the wind was blowing pretty strong, we thought it would drop out, but no it got stronger and stronger to the point that on the 3rd day there was 6ft waves coming in on to a beach that is normally flat calm.
The weather meant no fishing off the jetty for me, there was some people trying but it took all your effort just to stay on tne jetty.
We went out for a pizza on the first night and had some walks along the beach, places change so much with a weather change.
The stinger net was out and the surf lifeguard was on duty as there was a lot of people enjoying the waves.
